Woodbury Community Foundation
The Woodbury Community Foundation’s Winter Clothing Drive brings the community together to help ensure local kids have the warm clothing they need for Minnesota winters. Residents and volunteers donate new and gently used coats, snow pants, boots and gloves, while local businesses and community organizations serve as collection partners, making it easy for people across Woodbury to participate. WCF then works with SoWashCo CARES and local schools to connect those donations directly with students who need them. It’s a simple but powerful example of WCF’s role as a community connector, bringing together volunteers, donors, businesses and schools to turn generosity into meaningful local impact. We understand that plans change! If you’ve signed up for a volunteer opportunity and are no longer able to participate, please cancel your registration as soon as possible through the volunteer portal. Many of our projects rely on having a specific number of volunteers, and some opportunities have limited spots. Cancelling early allows us to offer your spot to another volunteer and helps our nonprofit, school and community partners plan appropriately. If possible, please cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled volunteer time. If something comes up at the last minute, we still ask that you cancel through the portal rather than simply not attending. Thank you for helping us be good partners to the organizations we serve and ensuring volunteer opportunities run smoothly for everyone.
